DBS Protocol for Parkinson’s

Our clinic offers Hinz amino-acid protocols specifically for patients with Parkinson’s disease or other complex brain-related conditions. You can learn more about this form of treatment by reading the DBS Catalog.

 

New Patient Process

1. Phone appointment with Dr. Basinger – chart review (45 min) 

2. In Office visit with Dr. Soorya (45 min) – This includes a complete History and Physical Exam and full discussion regarding testing and treatment options.

General Pricing Information:

New Patient Appointments, or Appointments to Review Labs: $450 hr, prorated to the length of time spent with the doctor.

Follow up Appointments: $370/hr, prorated to the length of each appointment. Once treatment is underway, a typical follow up appointment for the DBS protocol is 10-30 min, billed at $95 and $140.

Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations or changes to the schedule require at least business days notice to avoid a late cancellation fee. 

Billing Statements (also known as Super Bill): Natural Balance is out of network for all insurance, and we don’t bill your insurance. We will provide you with a super bill for every encounter with the appropriate codes to submit to your insurance for reimbursement to you directly. But please know that we have literally given up on trying to figure out the whims of insurance and cannot guarantee you will be reimbursed as such. For your reference, following are the codes we usually provide with your super bill.
